PEACE HOUSE

4th of July 2016 Parade – March with Peace House!

We invite you to march with Peace House in this year’s 4th of July Parade!  We will be marching with other peace and justice organizations. Our theme for 2016 is “Advocating for Economic Justice,” show-casing our Uncle Foods Diner Project. (See the logo for our banner below).

If anyone would like to wear a banner from the Vision Quilt Project for gun violence awareness, Cathy DeForrest can provide the banner. Cathy can be reached through www.visionquilt.org.

The parade starts at 10am, with entries moving onto Siskiyou Blvd. from Liberty St.  Parking may be difficult to find, so, please come early, (we suggest arriving by at least by 9am to park and find the Peace House marchers along Liberty Street, just above Triangle Park above Siskiyou Boulevard).  You may want to wear a hat and sun screen (and bring a water bottle).
