You are invited to gather with Ashland Housing Now Saturday, May 1st, on the downtown Ashland Plaza from 3 until 5 p.m. Look for banners like Workers Unite and End Militarism, Racism and Poverty. You may want to bring your own banners or signs. You may want to set up a table and distribute information. You may just want to talk with people assembled there.
May Day, May 1st, is traditionally a day commemorating the continuing struggle of working people everywhere to survive and transform the world.
“Through networking and discussion we may discover new ways to face challenges. How can we work together to improve conditions for workers, address climate change, win Healthcare for All, advance racial and social equity, and move forward in a thoughtful manner on all the issues with which we grapple?”
