The Future of Rural: Addressing Conflict Dynamics through Rural Economic Opportunity

Rural communities provide crucial sources of water, food, energy, and culture for the nation and approximately one-fifth of Americans live in rural areas. Despite the importance of rural America, many rural communities and people continue to be left behind. Join our session to hear from leaders of economic development and opportunity initiatives in rural communities as they discuss the challenges facing rural communities and describe how support for entrepreneurs and workers in rural communities contributes to a more just and peaceful society.
