Dedication of the Hiroshima Peace Camellia & Sharing of Japanese Arts

On May 13, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Peace House, One Sunny Day Initiatives and Southern Oregon Japanese Association will host the Dedication of the Hiroshima Peace Camellia & Sharing of Japanese Arts event in Lithia Park, in Ashland.

Ashland was chosen to host the Green Legacy Hiroshima Peace Camellia. It was planted in front of the Japanese Garden in Lithia Park this past March, and joins the Hiroshima Peace Ginkgo dedicated near Thalden Pavilion last August, to serve as living ambassadors of peace, resilience and hope.

12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Japanese Garden
