Peace House and our partners will hold a Vigil of Remembrance at the entrance to Lithia Park to mark the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945.  Each year, we bring together our community and host a solemn commemoration of the US deployment of nuclear bombs on the two Japanese cities with a lighting of the memorial flame, speakers and music.
