As tax day approaches on April 15, we look to where all of our tax money is going. Of the total $1.6 Trillion budgeted in the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024,  $1.1 Trillion will be directed to military and federal law enforcement agencies.

War Resisters League publishes an annual poster containing a pie graph that illustrates in more detail the lopsided priority given to military and law enforcement.  They also explain their methodology and  how it can be difficult for the average taxpayer to decipher.
