Screening Benefits OHRA and HomeShare Oregon

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
April 29

Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Opportunities for Housing, Resources and Assistance (OHRA) and HomeShare Oregon are hosting the showing of the movie No Place to Grow Old to benefit both organizations.

The non-profit HomeShare Oregon has three priority goals: to culturally normalize homesharing, to increase direct services to seniors, and to incentivize homesharing to address Oregon’s affordable housing crisis. By providing education, tools, resources, and support to interested homesharers, another affordable housing option is effectively created.

OHRA is dedicated to helping people in housing/financial or other crises find a path to stability. Skilled resource navigators work with anyone in need — whether housed or unhoused without enrollment in any program. They help guests navigate the maze of social services, get help from partner agencies, and achieve their goals. OHRA helps individuals and families avoid eviction, find a job, apply for benefits, access physical and mental health services, and more.

A $10 donation is suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Register here or pay at the door.
