As part of its “On the Tracks” series, The A Space – located in Ashland’s Railroad District – is presenting a Butoh performance featuring Meshi Chavez and directed by Ness “Hallow” Hopkins. The performance is presented in conjunction with a workshop presented at The A Space for local residents who are performing. Butoh is a dance form with a focus on transformation and the human condition. The A Space is a group of healing artists whose intention is to share art that uplifts and transforms individuals and communities.
