Noncooperation 101

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
February 13

Medford Library

Words like authoritarianism, fascism, and autocracy are all being thrown around a lot these days. How does this moment in the U.S. compare to authoritarian take-overs in other places? We’ll share about the current authoritarian threat, then share stories of noncooperation and how nonviolent noncooperation has been used to push back against anti-democratic forces.

Co-led by Meg Wade, Director of Peace House, and Trina Stout, Organizer & Trainer.

Open to all, no registration required. Please consider supporting programming like this with a donation.

If you’re already familiar with the authoritarian playbook, pillars of support, and noncooperation more broadly, and want a deeper dive, see our workshop on Monday, February 16th, where we’ll dig into economic noncooperation campaigns against ICE.
