Karen brings a wealth of experience in vision and strategic planning. Her history includes many years of entrepreneurial successes: dance studios, arts company, organic farm, restaurant, B&B, hospitality consulting, and years directing companies on islands in the South Pacific. She has also done private and non-profit consulting. Her background includes non-profit and political fund-raising, web site development, computer training, video production, book editing and publishing.

Karen has served as volunteer, Board Member and/or Executive Director with numerous non-profit organizations. She relocated to Ashland in 2008 and has served many of our local non-profits ever since. Karen is a great organizer and team builder. She is excited to bring her skills and expertise to the Peace House Board.
