Braver Angels of Southern Oregon will host pre-Thanksgiving workshops in Ashland and Grants Pass on “dealing with family political differences in a constructive way.”
The goals of the workshop are to give participants:
- A deeper understanding of why family differences over politics are uniquely challenging.
- Insight into the common roles that family members play when political conversations go badly.
- Strategies and skills for dealing with family political differences in a constructive way.
The Grants Pass workshop is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Unitarian Universalists, 129 NW E. St. To register as a participant or an observer contact Steve Radcliffe at steveradcliffe@peak.org, 541-479-3487.

Braver Angels is a national organization with a goal of reducing political polarization in the country. The Southern Oregon chapter has been active for four years with presentations to local civil and community groups and workshops on several subjects to heal the political divide.
