OSU Small Farms, Local Food Covid-19 FAQ
Access to credible information is important during any public health crisis. Faculty in the OSU Center for Small Farms and Community Food systems are working with community partners to provide current information that is relevant for small farms and local food systems. As the pandemic progresses, they may update or add to these Frequently Asked Questions.
The Rogue Flavor Guide connects consumers with the region’s farms, ranches and food- and beverage-oriented businesses, their locally grown and produced goods and the retailers who support them. It provides education and resources for obtaining local foods on any budget, discerning labels and understanding food-system sustainability, along with the numerous reasons to buy local, eat local.
School Meals
Click here to find a list of all Oregon school districts with links to their meal plans during the Coronavirus school closures. You do not have to attend that specific school or district to have access to these meals–free meals are available to children age 1-18 to pick up “grab and go” style.
Emergency Food Distribution
In this section you will find information about emergency food distribution and food pantries, including updated hours and locations.
Oregon Food Bank will be keeping its Find Food page updated as pantries’ emergency hours and operations change. Keep checking the page for up-to-date information about the closest food pantry in your area.

COVID-19 Resources for Farm to School and ECE is a Compilation of resources related to COVID-19 relevant to the farm to school and farm to early care and education community.
ACCESS Updates – As of 3/30/20, all Medford pantries will move to one temporary pantry distribution location located at the end Lear Way. Take Crater Lake Highway to Delta Waters and proceed onto Lear Way. The distribution location is half a mile past ACCESS. If you are driving, please remain in your vehicle. Community Peace Meals (Ashland) -Now operating out Shepherd’s Way church on the corner of 5th and East Main for a daytime neighborhood drop-in center. (599 East Main street in Ashland)
Josephine County Food Bank hours of operation and locations are changing. I recommend calling ahead to confirm hours/locations.
The Medford Gospel Mission is still serving free meals at their Main Ingredient Restaurant Mon-Fri – they’ve just moved to take-out style rather than dine-in.
Home-Delivery/Pickup Opportunities and Online Sales

With businesses around Southern Oregon temporarily shut down due to COVID-19, many folks are struggling. This site is meant to be a resource for the citizens of this region to connect with local small businesses.
Angel Farms is offering free door drop anywhere in Medford, Ashland, Grants Pass, and between! DM, call, or text (541) 646-1919 to order.
As the Garden Grows is offering door drop delivery of products. Their website will be updated on Tuesdays for weekly availability. Delivery is available on Friday’s between 2pm and 6pm and Saturday between 10 am and 1 pm.
Apple Outlaw offering cider to-go from Wednesday-Sunday 1-4 pm

The Bigham Farms Farmstand remains open from 8am-8pm daily. It is self-serve – you can find more information on their Facebook page.
Bright Star Bakery is offering baked goods online and pick up at our kitchen in Talent, Fridays from 1-5 and we also offer shipping as well
Box R Beef is still offering beef. Inquire on their website about delivery and/or shipping.

CABA Empanadas is open in downtown Medford for ordering take-away. They are also offering delivery of frozen empanadas on Tuesdays in Ashland and Thursdays in Medford.
