Immigrant Justice Statewide Session – IMIrJ

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
January 31

Online

Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (IMIrJ) invites you to join them Jan 31st at 6:30 PM to gather around common values and kick off the 2022 legislative session by learning how you and your faith community can take action.

“To prepare for this year, IMIrJ has hosted a series of small online house meetings. One with immigrant and Latine leaders, and one with leaders in faith communities across the state that have been studying abolitionist philosophy. In the meetings, we’ve built relationships with each other and connected around the bills.

During the Zoom event, you will learn about three pieces of Legislation that IMIrJ is working to promote during January session of OR Legislature. Those include the Farmworkers Overtime Pay bill, the Universal Representation bill, and criminal justice reform bill (Transforming Justice).
