It’s that time of year again! Whether you’re new to BASE or returning for another unforgettable year, The BASE Youth Open House is your opportunity to sign up, reconnect, and explore what’s ahead. BASE is a one-of-a-kind space for Black youth in grades K–12 to grow, lead, and shine. From creative arts and STEM to cultural education, sports, entrepreneurship, and more — our programming is designed to uplift, inspire, and celebrate. Program classes officially begin in September, so this Open House is your chance to get locked in early!  Pre-register now on our Youth page.

At the Open House, you can:
• Enroll in exciting new BASE classes
• Meet instructors, mentors, and staff
• Learn about field trips, events & leadership opportunities
• Ask questions and connect with other families
• Discover how BASE supports youth across Southern Oregon

An hour of silence to focus on what brings Peace and Love into the world. Individually and collectively. Some have used the time to do art, play music, knit or even read.

and for the end of US taxpayer support for bombs takes place every Friday.

Southern Oregon Peace Vets will learn about a progressive national veterans' peace group at SOPV's monthly meeting at 5:30 pm Monday, March 9th, on Zoom. Our featured guest speaker will be Jim Sandoe, Common Defense's Climate & Environment chair.
