Join Oregon Black Pioneers for a Black history walking tour of Jacksonville, OR, an historic gold mining town in the Applegate Valley. Led by Mariah Rocker, this 2-hour, 1-mile loop will make stops at locations connected to the town’s Black history. Guests will discover more bout pioneers Ben Johnson, Charles Blockwell, Sam Vose, and other members of one of the first Black communities in the state. Register to receive more information.
