Climate Action in the Rogue Valley: What are regional organizations doing?

Over the more than a decade that Southern Oregon Climate Action Now has been engaged in grassroots climate activism, several other local organizations have either taken on the climate crisis as an aspect of their activism or have launched themselves as climate organizations.

To honor what other Rogue Valley organizations are doing, and inform concerned Southern Oregonians about the wide range of ongoing activities in the region, SOCAN’s May program will offer a panel of short presentations summarizing the activities of local groups addressing climate change. The program will also include opportunities for participants to visit with representatives of these organizations to discuss their efforts.

Featuring representatives from:

  • Rogue Climate
  • Southern Oregon Citizens Climate Lobby
  • Southern Oregon Pachamama Alliance Community
  • Sustainable Rogue Valley
  • Siskiyous and Oregon Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Association
  • Ashland Climate Collaborative
  • KS Wild Climate Program
  • Sustainability at SOU
