Sorting Through the Confusion Around Ukraine

Sorting through the confusion around Ukraine
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
April 29

What on earth is going on in Ukraine and in Trump’s negotiations with Russia and Ukraine? What is the current military and political situation in Ukraine? What should we know about the origins of the Ukraine War prior to the Russian invasion in 2022? What are the prospects for a negotiated settlement of the war? And what does all this mean for the U.S. peace movement?

Ted Snider, long-time independent journalist and commentator on Antiwar.com, Libertarian Institute, Responsible Statecraft, and American Conservative, will speak about the military and political situation in Ukraine in the Spring of 2025, and the prospects for a negotiated settlement.

Ted Snider is a regular columnist on U.S. foreign policy and history at Antiwar.com and The Libertarian Institute. He is also a frequent contributor to Responsible Statecraft and The American Conservative as well as other outlets. His most recent articles can be found here on Antiwar.com including his article from March 12, “Will the U.S. Push Zelensky Out?”
