An hour of silence to focus on what brings Peace and Love into the world. Individually and collectively. Some have used the time to do art, play music, knit or even read.
A silent, non-violent vigil in the Quaker tradition, for peace in Palestine,
and for the end of US taxpayer support for bombs takes place every Friday.
Southern Oregon Peace Vets will learn about a progressive national veterans' peace group at SOPV's monthly meeting at 5:30 pm Monday, March 9th, on Zoom. Our featured guest speaker will be Jim Sandoe, Common Defense's Climate & Environment chair. "Common Defense organizes veterans and engages the military community to transform our society by advocating for progressive policies that work for all of us."
