Women Living Liberation Theology/Mujeres Viviendo la Teología de la Liberación

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
September 29

Online

The Witness for Peace Solidarity Collective will host a virtual discussion with four Colombian panelist about their work building peace from their spaces of faith.

Women have historically played a central role in the processes of non-violent resistance in our America, a resistance in which faith has often been fundamental to stay on our feet and continue fighting. Colombia has not been an exception. Women have led numerous processes throughout the territory and faith has been a factor of unity but also a risk factor for those who preach it.

As the Witness for Peace Solidarity Collective, in collaboration with Drew University and the Hispanic House of Studies at Duke University, invite you to a virtual discussion with four of these women who build peace in their territories from their spaces of faith, on September 29 at 6:00 pm CT / 7:00 pm ET, for which you can register today.
