Two events celebrating the life of Dr. King will be held in Grants Pass on January 18 and 20, 2025. 

On Saturday, January 18, a student-centered event is planned at Grants Pass High School Commons and will include live music and dance performances, food trucks, and opportunities to gather and hear from leaders about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Monday, January 20, an interfaith celebration called  “Lead With Love” will feature speaker Dr. Geneva Craig at 7 p.m. at the Newman United Methodist Church in Grants Pass. In a uniting conjoining of congregations, the annual event will commemorate important local and national civil rights accomplishments for Black Americans.
