In Ashland, Pride is Not Just a Parade

SoPride has expanded the traditional Pride to offer something for everyone

This weekend, droves of people are expected in Ashland to take part in the popular street parade to celebrate LBGTQIA + communities and their rights on Saturday. Beyond the flashy costumes and floats, representing more than 50 self-organized groups, opportunities are abound for fun — for the whole family.

Today

Tomorrow

The SOPride Parade begins at 11 a.m. at the corner of Union and Siskiyou.

The parade will end at the Lithia Park Bandshell with a mini-festival filled with performances, aieral acrobatics, and lively music by performers from OSF’s Rent. More than 20 street venders will be there with delicious food, artisan crafts, and more.

If you stick it out until 8 p.m. you can watch drag queens perform and dance to DJs at the Black Sheep, and join a Pride crawl throughout Ashland.

Sunday
