‘Living With Climate Change’ Course Available for Credit at SOU this Spring

Southern Oregon Climate Action Now recently announced that its seven-year legacy of offering an indepth look at climate issues through its Master Climate Protector – A Primer for Action course will now be offered as an accredited course at Southern Oregon University.

“We are approaching conditions that spell disaster for our natural ecosystems, biodiversity, agriculture, forestry and fisheries,” said Dr. Journet. “But we can understand and address the problem!”

While the class will continue to be offered for a minimal price to community members who are not SOU students, it will also be available for academic credit under the University’s Environmental Science, Policy and Sustainability Department program.

The course will be taught by Dr. Alan Journet for ten weeks beginning Wednesday April 3 from 5:30 – 8:30 in Room 066 of the Science Building at SOU.
