This Friday at Peace House, people will gather in remembrance of the US bombing of Nagasaki with A Costly Madness: The Doomsday Machine. The event will honor the work of Daniel Ellsberg, the famous whistleblower who released the Pentagon papers and lifelong activist against nuclear weapons.
Come at 3:30 for refreshments, join at 4:00 p.m. for the film screening and discussion. Peace House is located at 543 S. Mountain Avenue in Ashland.
The event includes a video of Ellsberg delivering his 35 minute talk called “A Common Insanity” with a discussion to follow about what we can do to stop the next nuclear arms race.
