The online Wild & Scenic Film Festival brings together community to celebrate our work to protect the Klamath-Siskiyou wildlands and restore clean water in the Rogue Basin. Award-winning films will examine nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice and Indigenous cultures. Barry, the film festival’s founder, loved to explore the Klamath-Siskiyou by trail, road, or river. We thank the late Barry Snitkin for his work to establish the film festival as such a coveted community experience.
Tickets for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival can be purchased at siskiyoufilmfest.org.
After you purchase a ticket, the film festival will be sent to your email inbox at 6 p.m. Friday, March 10. The films will be available to view until March 15.
The event each year harnesses a little bit of history that KS Wild commemorates in the legacy of film festival founder Barry Snitkin, an avid KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper supporter who enjoyed celebrating the wonders of the Klamath Siskiyou region through film and art.
Film festival raffle tickets are available through March 10. Proceeds from the raffle go to supporting KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper’s local environmental conservation work. Every year, in support of our organization and the conservation work we do, local businesses donate incredible prizes for the film festival raffle.
The gifts include coastal and mountain getaways, outdoor gear, adventures and local bounty from businesses throughout the Rogue Valley. Most of the gifts can be shipped, so you don’t have to live locally to take part. The raffle will close at 10 p.m. Friday, March 10, and will be announced via email at 10:05 p.m. Winners will be instructed how to pick up their prizes.
