Salmon Viewing on Bear Creek

Join KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper for Salmon Viewing on Bear Creek from 10am-12pm on October 23.

Learn about the annual salmon migration up the Rogue River and Bear Creek on this casual stroll along the Bear Creek Parkway between Ashland and Talent. Rogue Riverkeeper Conservation Director Emily Bowes will lead the hike to places along Bear Creek where salmon are known to spawn. The hike will be about 2 1/2 miles round trip on mostly paved surfaces. Bring water, comfortable walking shoes, layers for rain or shine. Binoculars and polarized sunglasses are recommended to enhance your viewing experience! Sign up link is here.
